Bob is a PWC trained Scottish chartered accountant, building expertise within the Corporate Finance Advisory Service (CFAS) and Business Services Group (BSG), supporting the development of large, medium and smaller sized enterprises, across a wide range of business sectors.

His early expertise was developed around consulting, financial advisory, accounting, business start-ups and strategic leadership, having worked for PwC, Kishorn Windows, British Waterways, CLC Distribution and Simple Technology in positions ranging from European Financial Controller to Finance Director.

In 1997, Bob set up his own consulting company, providing clients with leadership advices across shared service centres, financial strategy, controls, governance and reporting, change and programme management.

Bob moved to Philippines in 2011, having been engaged by Trax Technologies as Finance Director: APAC & EMEA responsible for establishing a finance SSC and providing leadership to mitigate risks for the $5+BN transaction company. He moved to Schneider Electric, as Director: Finance Shared Services, in 2014, delivering financial processing and reporting support to 41 clients across 19 countries and directly leading a 300-strong FiSS team with indirect responsibility for a 150-person customer contact centre and 30 HR Services team. In 2017, he lead the Philippines side of a global restructuring of shared services, resulting in the merging of the India and Philippines centres, in Bangalore.

On leaving Schneider Electric during 2018, Bob has supported the development of a newstart personal services business; an international music hardware developer and manufacturer; as well as being a board member of Gerson Lehman Group, providing expert support to financial services organisations.
